New designHope you guys enjoy the new cleaner & much sleeker layout! The old one was a bit too centered and crowded down the center. Also it was rather plain, so things are definitely spiced up to give this blog some depth. With this new template, we're able to fit a bit more text/pictures horizontally (width-wise) then we usually could.
Changes- new template / layout change
- new edited logo with slogan
- several new stuff on the side. Family slideshow, search button, etc
Expect new changes / layout fixes & small tweaks over the next few days depending on feedback. The navigation-bar at the very top disappeared. Hopefully we can get the issue resolved soon or work around it. Be sure to let me know what you all think and what you want changed
News - Walmart plans to crush competition
Widely known for GREAT low & affordable prices ($8 jeans, etc.) and their variety of products. It's like a grocery & department store all combined into one location. Makes it very convenient for a lot of people, therefore building an unbelievable large customer base.
With the recession forcing many stores into bankruptcy, the world's largest retailer now apparently wants to knock out the remaining survivors.
Walmart loves to shock and wow people. Once again, they are planning to dominate the market, with a new plan in mind. The company is in it's beginning stages of bettering the company and will undergo many changes in the next couple of months.
Called : Project Impact. It's goal is a cleaner, less cluttered store that will not only improve people's shopping experience but give the atmosphere a better a look. Secondly, they plan to improve customer service also.
And lastly, shut down other businesses. They're going after K-mart & Riteaid. They already knocked out 4 out of the 5 biggest toy retailers, and now are planning to shut down the last one standing : Toys "R" Us. Project Impact, the alpha dawg plans to wipe out a second round of national and regional retailers. While it is a good thing in a sense, in another sense it can be seen as a very bad thing for small businesses because they can't compete with such a Big & known name. And by the look of things and what they've done in the past. It's certainly going to go according to plan!
The only 24/7 walmart I knew of was on Beach & Trask (City of westminster). Now as of recently, I had just found out that the one by Kenneth/Ant's house just turned 24/7 too. I was in there a couple of days ago (small BBQ nite at the ly's) and it looked pretty messy with tons of boxes everywhere & people stocking them . Guess they're undergoing the new changes now. Go Walmart!
