Fresh and Clean

So I was mainly at home(after a surprise visit to the rest of the family at the house) and it resulted in some cleaning. It does feel a little more spacious but spacious can only go so far with a king sized bed.
This interrupted me mid-way...*salivates*

Yes, I don't make my bed. Shoot me.

My desktop is usually relatively clean but at least I got my desk a little cleaner. It'll end up with a mess in a couple days I bet.
And yeah, that's Emma Watson. You heard me right.

Anime Dub vs Sub Battle Fandub to Gantz

[Warning! Video can be a bit bloody towards the end]
This video did make me think a little about my preferences for subbed anime and dubbed anime. I myself generally do prefer a good sub because 1) it comes out earlier and 2) generally the voices just seem to match their appearance and character better. On the other hand, it does have its error points for non-japanese speaking folk considering emphasized words and minor suggested hints.

Then again, I do believe even some Japanese voices don't match their anime parts(Roy Mustang in FMA Brotherhood). There have been great dubs however such as Girl Who Leapt Through Time, FLCL, and Trigun.

Check if this applies to you. It's a fun watch I must admit.

White on Rice

So my Japanese instructor offered extra credit to whoever watches this and writes a 1 page report on it. Me, bro, Johnny, and Khemara decided to check it out. It was a great ass movie and a lot better than any of us expected it to be. Definitely worth seeing it theatres and buying the dvd. It's like an Asian 40 year old virgin. Well I don't have time to write up my report right now since I work in 6 hours I'll post my report up once i finish it up...

After the movie we went for some burger fun at Knowlwoods.
A meal fit for a king but consumed by four princes.
When you have the frisco deluxe it's like taking a bite out of the golden gate bridge.
The world's best hamburger is just a pretty good hamburger.
Some pretty legit fried zucchinni.
Is this Ant or Andy? Text your vote now!
Kenneth has to bike 163 miles to burn off the calories from this meal!
1/2 lb. burgers are 1/6 lb. too much!

School Scenery

I don't particularly find my campus beautiful or anything but I seem to come across the occasional scenery I can't help but to love. I only have my phone on campus so the photo quality isn't great at all.

New design + Walmart News

New design

Hope you guys enjoy the new cleaner & much sleeker layout! The old one was a bit too centered and crowded down the center. Also it was rather plain, so things are definitely spiced up to give this blog some depth. With this new template, we're able to fit a bit more text/pictures horizontally (width-wise) then we usually could.

Changes

- new template / layout change
- new edited logo with slogan
- several new stuff on the side. Family slideshow, search button, etc

Expect new changes / layout fixes & small tweaks over the next few days depending on feedback. The navigation-bar at the very top disappeared. Hopefully we can get the issue resolved soon or work around it. Be sure to let me know what you all think and what you want changed

News - Walmart plans to crush competition

Widely known for GREAT low & affordable prices ($8 jeans, etc.) and their variety of products. It's like a grocery & department store all combined into one location. Makes it very convenient for a lot of people, therefore building an unbelievable large customer base.

With the recession forcing many stores into bankruptcy, the world's largest retailer now apparently wants to knock out the remaining survivors.

Walmart loves to shock and wow people. Once again, they are planning to dominate the market, with a new plan in mind. The company is in it's beginning stages of bettering the company and will undergo many changes in the next couple of months. Called : Project Impact. It's goal is a cleaner, less cluttered store that will not only improve people's shopping experience but give the atmosphere a better a look. Secondly, they plan to improve customer service also.

And lastly, shut down other businesses. They're going after K-mart & Riteaid. They already knocked out 4 out of the 5 biggest toy retailers, and now are planning to shut down the last one standing : Toys "R" Us. Project Impact, the alpha dawg plans to wipe out a second round of national and regional retailers. While it is a good thing in a sense, in another sense it can be seen as a very bad thing for small businesses because they can't compete with such a Big & known name. And by the look of things and what they've done in the past. It's certainly going to go according to plan!

The only 24/7 walmart I knew of was on Beach & Trask (City of westminster). Now as of recently, I had just found out that the one by Kenneth/Ant's house just turned 24/7 too. I was in there a couple of days ago (small BBQ nite at the ly's) and it looked pretty messy with tons of boxes everywhere & people stocking them . Guess they're undergoing the new changes now. Go Walmart!

Pre and Labor Day BBQ

We decided to cook up some good ole BBQ at home yesterday for the Labor Day weekend. Who knew that we would have so much left over to cook on the grill again for the actual Labor Day weekend.

Tony decided to help out.

BURRRNNNN BABY BURNN!

'Cause it tastes better on a stick.

A sad attempt at a Quesadilla burger. Not sure how those things work...never bothered to look how they make it. It tasted awesome though.

Which Marvel-Disney Crossover Would You Like To See

Now that you've heard that Disney has bought out Marvel for $4 billion, it is highly likely that there will be some sort of collaboration. Which one of these would you like to see? The most voted one amuses me.
